Stevens marches onto the court to take on cross-town rival Central in the first round of the State Tournament

The Raider City Stevens Raiders Girls Basketball Team punched their ticket to the state tournament by defeating Brookings, 56-32, in the SODAK 16.

In their first game, the ladies played cross-town rival Central sending the Cobblers to the consolation bracket. Junior Macy Wathen led the team with 17 points, hitting five three-pointers. Bailee Sobczak came away with 8 points and 9 rebounds to help lead the Raiders.

Next up for the Raiders, #8 Sioux Falls Jefferson who the Raiders easily defeated in the regular season, 48-27.
