Boys Hockey Heads to Nationals
Girls finish the season….
The hockey team celebrated after scoring.
After going 20-0 on the high school season, and taking second place at the State High School Tournament, the Rushmore Thunder will be heading to 2022 USA Hockey-Chipotle High School Division II National Championship.
The boys will be competing against teams from Minnesota, Kentucky and Iowa. This is not the first year the team has gone to Nationals, last year they went to the tournament in Omaha, NE.
Senior Duncan Chisholm says that while not the whole team will be attending the tournament, “I’m really excited to go. It will be a good last-bonding experience, it will be really fun.”
The teams first game is March 24th at 4:00 pm.
