Congratulations to Oliver Clements and Quincy Hibbard for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Athletes of the Week”!
Oliver Clements (Football): Oliver had a nice game last week against Sturgis for the JV football team. He helped seal the victory with a nice interception and returned it for 85 yards for a touchdown. He made very nice tackles along with a couple pass deflections to help the defense and the team. Oliver came back to playing football and has progressed every week to help him move into the starting lineup for JV. He is an exceptional kid and will do his best every time on the field.
Quincy Hibbard (Competitive Cheer): Last week when we swapped students out of certain skills we placed Quincy into a brand new stunt sequence. She stepped in with a positive attitude and took critique extremely well. Quincy is only an 8th grader and has been showing incredible dedication and hard work being on a varsity team. At our home competition, Quincy and her group executed their stunt sequence beautifully resulting in our third 1st place win of the season. Quincy continues to work hard and try the new skills we throw at her, and we are excited to see how much farther she will go in her athletic career.
