Congratulations to Brett Novotny and Kyra Perkins for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Performers of the Week!” Here are their nominations:
BRETT NOVOTNY (Band): Brett has had to step up as a section leader in marching band as a Sophomore, and he has done a great job. His support and guidance has been invaluable, and his personal achievements continue to be outstanding. Brett has multiple solos in our Fall Band Concert, and at the same time he is preparing and auditioning for All State Orchestra on Horn this week.
KYRA PERKINS (Band): Kyra has been an incredible section leader throughout the marching band season, and has been a soloist in our marching show. At both competitions we have attended, the judges have commented on how great she has done on her featured solo performances. Kyra does all of this while balancing participation in orchestra as well. This week Kyra is auditioning for All State Orchestra on both her band and orchestra instruments. Double the preparation, double the hard work
