Congratulations to Taaliyah Porter, Marieda Kalahar, and Jacob Williams for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Athletes of the Week!” Here are their nominations:
Taaliyah Porter (Basketball): Taaliyah is a huge reason why we are off to a 3-0 start to the girls’ basketball season. She is averaging about 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game while shooting a crazy 59% from the field and 100% from the free throw line.
Marieda Kalahar (Wrestling): 14-0 current rank #2 Marieda is off to great start to her senior year. She has won both the Custer Invite and the Rapid City Invite championships. Marieda is a returning 2x state placer winner and finished 3rd last season. Marieda also excels in academics with over a 4.0 GPA.
