Congratulations to Keegan Jones and Marissa Renaud for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Athlete of the Week!” Here are their nominations:
Keegan Jones (Swimming): Keegan finished second in the 17-19 age group at the Pierre Capital City Qualifier, where six teams competed. He finished first in the 200 Butterfly.
Marissa Renaud (Swimming): Marissa recently swam in the Capital City Qualifier in Pierre where she placed 2nd overall for high point for the girls 17 and over. She placed 1st in the 1650, 500, and 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 backstroke and 400 Individual Medley. She placed 2nd in the 100 backstroke. Marissa has been swimming for 13 years and currently swims for the Rushmore Tsunsmi Swim Team.
