Congratulations to Joe Juenger and Taaliyah Porter for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Athlete of the Week!” Here are their nominations:
Joe Juenger (Wrestling): Record 34-9. Ranked #8 Joe has been a great leader for the Raiders this season. He has battled through our schedule and is just hitting high gear now. Last weekend Joe captured the Yankton Invite championship. Which help lead us to a tournament victory. Joe has a great opportunity the next few weeks to cement himself as state title contender.
Taaliyah Porter (Basketball): Taaliya broke Stevens all-time scoring record last Friday night at Sioux Falls O’Gorman passing Becky Hammon. She is currently averaging 21.1ppg, 6.7rpg, and 2apg.
