Congratulations to Daniel Wold-Fortier and Cordelia Grey for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Performer of The Week!” Here are their nominations:
Daniel Wold-Fortier (Band): Daniel has stepped into a leadership position with the younger students around him, and has committed to being an example of what the Raider Band expects in playing and in participation. His attendance at pep bands, participation in all music groups available to him, and willingness to help whenever possible makes him our nominee for Performer of the Week.
Cordelia Grey (Orchestra): Cordelia is the principal cello in the Stevens Symphonic Orchestra, is a marvelous representative of Stevens High School. Top grades, kind, witty, and adventurous are only some of her many attributes. Not only did Cordelia win the top cello chair in the SD All-State Orchestra last fall, but last weekend she defended (and won!) her chair back in the highly selective J. Laiten Weed Honors Orchestra. Yes, Cordelia is the not only a top-notch Stevens Raider, she’s also the best dang high school cello player in the state. Way to go!
