Congratulations to Cameron Worsley and Markus Walter for being chosen as Stevens Raiders Fine Arts “Student of The Week!” Here are their nominations:
Cameron Worsley (Orchestra) – Sitting in the front of the cello section is most likely not something Cameron Worsley set as her main goal as a member of the Stevens Symphonic Orchestra. But that’s where her commitment to excellence placed her. In the past three years, Cameron has committed to playing the cello and in doing so, she showed up to sectionals, came in for help during lunch or after school, or asked questions of whomever she needed to get to the place where she could play the part accurately. Cameron is goal-driven and strives to achieve the best at what she does.
Markus Walter (Orchestra) – As a member of both the Stevens HS Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Orchestra, sophomore Markus Walter knows a thing or two about hard work and dedication. Arriving to zero hour chamber orchestra before most of the orchestra (and teacher!) Markus is quick to begin a game of cards (he’s our UNO man!), place pieces in our ongoing puzzle play, or contemplate the events of the world. His work at becoming a fabulous viola player is unmatched, making Markus an integral member of the Stevens Orchestra Family.
