Congratulations to Shea Richter, Jess Christensen, Brittany Jones, and Ayla Hattum for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Athletes of the Week”!  Here are their nomination:

Shea Richter (Varsity Wrestling): Won the Bismarck Rotary. He is currently ranked #3 at 106. Shae battled through the top ranked ND and SD wrestlers to take home his 1st Rotary title. He effort along with his team captured the team title.

Jess Christensen (Sub-Varsity Basketball): Jess averaged 15.5 points and 6 rebounds.

Brittany Jones (Basketball):  Brittany scored 17 points vs Jefferson and 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists vs Roosevelt this last weekend.

Ayla Hattum (Sub-Varsity Basketball):  Ayla averaged double digit scoring in the team’s sweep of SF Roosevelt and SF Jefferson. Ayla was also tasked with guarding the opposing team’s best player each day and, as a result of her efforts, we only surrendered an average of 19 points per game.
