Congratulations to Maks Mullin, Marissa Puppel, and Sarah Cochran for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Performer of The Week!”
Maks Mullin (Band): Maks won the Black Hills Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Contest Youth Division. This is a highly competitive event including winds and strings from throughout the region. Maks also found out last week that he was selected as the top flute player in the South Dakota All State Band. This is a major accomplishment as students grades 9-12 across the state audition for this event.
Marissa Puppel and Sarah Cochran (Band): Marissa and Sarah have been selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City. After applying along with thousands of students across the country, they had to submit a playing audition. Both Marissa and Sarah were selected for the top ensemble and will be performing on stage, at Carnegie Hall, this weekend.
