Long before the South Dakota State High School Sweet 16 came to the Stevens High School, there was the 2022 Stevens Intramural Basketball Tournament.

In what may go down as an epic upset, the #2 TNK Tigers fought their way to the championship game against the heavily favored #1 Theme Team. Undefeated throughout the season, the Theme Team looked poised to win defeating two others on their way to the winner bracket.

In a barn burner, the TNK Tigers overtook the Theme Team, 34-29, handing them their first loss of the season and walking away with the championship.
