Thirty-six female athletes from Stevens were recognized during half-time of a boys basketball game for their participation in sports. NGWSD, or National Girls and Women in Sports Day, was February 2, 2022. This year marks the 36th annual celebration and the kickoff to the 50th Anniversary of Title IX.

NGWSD is an annual celebration recognizing the strides being made for women and girls achieving through sport. NGWSD is celebrated in all 50 states with community-based events, award ceremonies, and activities honoring the achievements and encouraging participation of women and girls in sports.
