Saturday marks the first his is the first time Raider Park has been able to host a 5k, since the completion of the trails named after Tom Pfeifle.

“It is incredibly special to host this year’s Tom Pfeifle 5k at Raider Park.  We are so excited to have the event participants see first-hand how their financial support has helped transform the area into a beautiful park and trail system.” said organizer Seth Keene.

Officials report that there are almost 400 pre-registered runners, but walk-in registrations are welcome. Runners will take off below the inflatable arch, and the Stevens drumline will be on hand adding excitement and energy to the event.

Raffle baskets will be available with tickets being sold during registration, immediately after the run, and right up until the drawing. Neck gaiters are available for a donation, and over 100 random prizes will be given away.

Registration for the event begins at 7:15 am, with the Run/Walk beginning at 8:30 am.
