Congratulations to Sydney Wathen, Luther Busching, and Gabe Cox for being chosen as Stevens Raiders “Athletes of the Week”! Here are their nominations:
Sydney “Squish” Wathen (Volleyball): Squish amassed her 2,000 dig. Most volleyball players are lucky to make 1,000 career digs. So, 2,000 career digs is truly an accomplishment.
Luther Busching & Gabe Cox (Soccer) As team co-captains, Luther and Gabe served as the leaders of our team this year. They modeled what it meant to be a Raider and were also very accomplished players. These two led the team in shots, shots-on-goal, assists, and goals. Last week, Luther and Gabe were selected to the 2023 AA Boys Soccer All-State First Team which puts them among the top eleven players in the state.
